Katharina Hinsberg
line and cut - January 23 until February 27, 2016

LINES AND CUTS is the fifth solo show of Katharina Hinsberg in Gallery Werner Klein.
The exhibition focuses on five groups of works on paper: DIAPERN, GRID/LINES, AJOURE, GIORNATA and LACUNAE.

“Katharina Hinsbergs drawings are traces of activity, each, that ensues in the exciting border region between surface and space, between positive and negative compositional constituents, the presence and absence of drawin: an activitythat reconciles the subjective mark and a conceptual approach in a captivatingly sensual concert.“ ( Britta E. Buhlmann, director of Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserlautern, Germany)

Katharina Hinsberg was born in Karlsruhe (Germany) 1967. She lives and works near by Düsseldorf. Since 2011 she is teaching as Professor at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar. Her works are part of considerable museum collections as .
